Shoot product photos free with your own ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok

Lenci is an AI product photography studio that prepares the scene, the instructions and the reference images for you; you then generate the picture with your own ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok account. You need no API key and no Lenci credits, so this route is free on Lenci, and your AI provider's limits and charges apply under your plan.

Try the white catalogue scene

The four steps

Four steps from the scene to the photo. Before the second step you sign in to Lenci with your e-mail or your Google account, so the shot and its result are kept in your library. Your scene and its references stay saved for 24 hours, so you can finish the shot later or try another tool.

  1. Build the scene in the Studio: the product or the model, the set, the lighting, the camera and the framing. Add photos of your real product as references.
  2. Press “Shoot with my own AI” and pick your tool. Lenci copies one picture that combines the scene preview with your references, and writes the instructions for you.
  3. The tool opens in a new tab: ChatGPT and Grok arrive with the instructions already typed in the message box; with Gemini you paste the instructions, then the picture. Attach the picture and send.
  4. When the photo is ready, copy it and paste it into Lenci, drop it in, or upload it from your phone with a QR code, and it is saved in your library with its scene.

What Lenci writes for you

These are real instructions that Lenci built from the ready look “Abaya · Diriyah golden hour” without contacting any provider. They describe the person, the outfit, the head cover, the pose, the set, the light, the lens and the framing, and give the reference images their roles: the preview for the composition, body and outfit, and the face portrait alone for identity. When you add photos of your garments or products, each gets its own line asking the AI to reproduce it as it is.

The instructions are in English; you paste them as they are into your tool, with the attached picture.

The instructions Lenci wrote in English for the ready look “Abaya · Diriyah golden hour”. The Studio's prompt builder generated them; nobody wrote them by hand.
Subject: a Saudi woman in her mid-twenties with warm brown eyes, dark arched brows and a soft oval face, standing upright facing the camera, arms relaxed, feet together, a soft closed-mouth smile. The person in the composite is a placeholder for body, outfit, head cover, pose and angle; the face comes only from the identity reference. One subject only, full figure, anatomically correct hands.

Wardrobe: a black wrap abaya with a crossover neckline, wide long sleeves to the wrists, a thin gold belt at the waist and a full floor-length skirt, and black pointed heels. Head: a chiffon shayla hijab wrapped to cover the hair, ears and neck. Modest, fully covered styling. Makeup: natural, softly glowing makeup.

Set and props: a restored mud-brick Najdi alley in Diriyah, warm golden-hour light.

Lighting plot: no studio lights, available light only: ambient warm golden-hour light; long warm shadows and gentle falloff.

Camera: 50 mm standard lens at f/2.8, shallow depth of field; eye level, three-quarter view from camera left, full-body shot, head to toe.

Look: quiet luxury campaign: warm, calm, timeless, soft haze; warm film colour with lifted blacks, fine film grain, a subtle vignette, a touch of highlight bloom, a warmer balance. Effects: backlit dust particles floating in the air.

Composition: 4:5 portrait lookbook frame, centred, comfortable headroom.

Technical: photoreal photograph, true skin and fabric texture, accurate colour; preserve existing markings; no invented text/logos, watermarks or extra people/limbs; deliver 1024×1536 px, composed to crop to 4:5.

Realism: camera angle and lens first, then identity, wardrobe and scene. Re-light the face for this scene so face, neck and hands share the body's light, colour and focus, as one real person. No AI beauty face: no plastic or airbrushed skin, doll symmetry or uncanny eyes; keep pores and natural asymmetry. Keep the wardrobe and head cover exactly as described. Before finishing, check that the camera angle, the subject and the background match this brief.

What is free and what is not

“Free” here means that Lenci deducts no credits and asks for no payment when you shoot with your own account; your AI provider's limits and charges apply to everything you generate there.

Why not just prompt ChatGPT directly?

Your privacy

Lenci never asks for your ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok password and never signs in to your account: the tool opens in your browser, and you are the one who sends the request and brings back the result. What you paste or attach there is governed by that provider's terms and privacy policy.

Details in the Privacy Policy.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?

Yes, on Lenci's side: no credits are deducted and no payment is asked when you shoot with your own account. The generation happens with your AI provider, though, so its limits and charges apply under your plan with them.

Do I need a paid ChatGPT plan?

That depends on your plan with the provider and how much image generation it includes, which changes from time to time. Lenci requires no subscription of its own, so check what your ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok plan allows.

Can Lenci access my account?

No. Lenci never asks for your password and never connects to your account; it copies the instructions and the picture and opens the tool in a new tab, and you send the request and bring the result back to your library.

Which AI gives better results?

Results vary with the model, the scene and how clear your reference photos are. Try two tools on the same scene and compare them: the preview and the instructions stay the same, and your scene stays saved for 24 hours.

Does it support Midjourney?

Yes, for images: Lenci copies the /imagine command and opens Midjourney, then you paste the command and attach the saved images. Midjourney's terms and your subscription's limits apply.

Where are my photos kept?

In your Lenci library, together with the scene that made them, and you can download or delete them at any time. The chat itself stays in your account with the provider; Lenci keeps no copy of it.
